I never was a big fan of Aero or, indeed, most Nestle chocolate. Perhaps it’s the self-hating disappointment invoked by every packet of Smarties. Or maybe it’s those moronic Yorkie ads, where Nestle try to find a niche for a chocolate bar that tastes precisely of mouse-regurgitated sugar mixed with lead. “It’s not for girls!” screams the overbearing voice-over after insulting the intelligence of half their market.
Anyway, who says men don’t like chocolate? My gra for cocoa is as valid as a man’s secret cupcake desires. My parents always have a fridge full of Aero’s, and because I like the idea of “aerated chocolate”, I steal them whenever I visit, and then I remember that I hate Aero.
Now I need never eat another Aero again, as I’m going to start stuffing my pockets with Galaxy Bubbles. They’re exactly like Aero bars only they’re nice. Galaxy Bubbles look, feel, and taste like floating into the heavens on a chocolate cloud, wrapped in a chocolate bubble, while kissed by chocolate lovers. They’re currently 78c in Centra, but you’ll also find them hidden in secret locations around my house.
