I had sushi for lunch recently in the Epicurean Food Hall on Dublin’s Abbey St, from a stand called the Brother Buffet. The price was what caught my eye – any eight pieces for €6.65. This has to be the cheapest deal on sushi I’ve seen anywhere in Dublin.
The Brother Buffet mainly serves all-you-can-eat Chinese food, and the day I was there, there wasn’t much sushi left – I had to go for a prepacked box rather than selecting eight pieces. There was a good variety though, and the pieces were of a very generous size. My wasabi, soy and ginger cost an extra 30c, but this very substantial meal was still less than €7. The sushi was fine, not the best I’ve ever had but very decent indeed for the price. Recommended.
Have any of you seen any cheaper sushi in Ireland?
