The foodie group For Food’s Sake have been running food-themed evenings in Dublin’s Sugar Club for a while now. It’s always managed to clash with other plans for me, but I’m hoping to make it along for the movie screening this evening. It sounds great!
Dublin Screening: Eat Drink Man Woman
Thu 29 September; The Sugar Club, Leeson Street, Dublin 2
Doors 7pm for seats and eats, film kicks off 8pm; Adm €5
Food from award-winning China Sichuan of Sandyford.
To whet the audience’s appetite for the screening of Eat Drink Man Woman, we’re borrowing two chefs from the award-winning China Sichuan who will be serving up Bon Bon Chicken to start (spicy chicken with a chilli, peanut & soya dressing), followed by Fish Fragrance Pork Shreds (shredded pork in a hot ginger garlic sauce) or Mo Pa Tofu (Sichuan pepper and chilli-spiced beancurd) for mains, and Cocunut & Green Tea Pannacotta for dessert. We’ll be keeping prices keen again, with a starter and main combo for just €10, not to mention bottles of house wine for just €10.
