You may have heard of some of the nifty events that For Food’s Sake have organised over the last year or two – such as movies paired with food in the Sugar Club and discussion evenings where producers talk about the future of food in Ireland. They have one coming up this weekend in Toner’s on Baggot St – a big barbeque cookout. You bring your own food; For Food’s Sake will supply the barbeques and all necessary equipment (napkins, cutlery etc), and have invited food producers who will be bringing samples. As they say, it’s a great opportunity to share your favourite BBQ recipes and meet other foodies – it’s a fantastic idea and we reckon it’ll be a lovely day.
The For Food’s Sake BBQ will be in the beer garden in Toner’s on Baggot St, from 3 – 7 pm on Saturday 11th August.
